Our profession has been around for ages; countless buildings without proper planning and provision have been allowed. I understood then that many people thought that architecture was a privilege, therefore expensive. Many building owners compromise design and planning to maximise the real estate of their space. It has become a norm and has been neglected, which affects many people in their daily lives. And over the course of my practice, I encountered and studied a wide range of new things in order to develop my design principles and values. This misunderstanding was caused by both those in the profession and the people around us, and I recognized it. This motivated me to start my firm and reach out to more Filipinos.

Architecture is a language and has means of communicating by visual cues and verbal approach, through textures or colors of the finishes, zoning, and planning, the harmony of the building to the site conditions and location. All of these are part of the design. Architecture is not just about aesthetics but the art of creating a beautiful space that is the best fit for both humans and the environment.
